At United Paws Animal Rescue, we are dedicated to providing a safe haven for rescued animals in need, and we’re excited to introduce you to our current adoptable pets.
Each of these animals has a unique story, but they all share one thing in common – the hope of finding a loving family to call their own. Whether you’re looking for a playful puppy, a wise senior, or a sweet cat, we’re sure you’ll find a companion who is just right for you.
Please take your time browsing through our animals’ profiles, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to meet one of them in person. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and yours!
I remember when the world started getting bigger.
At first, it was just me and my brother—two tiny explorers, always together. Then one day, he found his forever home… and I had a feeling my turn was coming too.
And I was right.
When they found me, they didn’t mind that I was a little shy. They held me close like I already belonged—and just like that, everything started to change.
Then I met my new family.
Three pup pups—two sisters and one brother—wiggly, happy, and so gentle with me. And my Kit Kat crew—two sisters and one brother—who showed me all the best sunny spots and how to feel brave.
Little by little, I came out of my shell.
Now I run, play, and curl up right in the middle of everything. My house is full of love, and somehow, it fits me perfectly.
I’m Emmett.
And I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. 🧡
Emmett,

Hi, I’m Emmett 🧡
I’m about a year and a half old, which in cat years means I’m in my very handsome young gentleman era. I’m a diluted orange kitty with what I believe is the finest fluffy tail you’ve ever seen. Personally, I think it deserves its own fan club. When I walk, it goes straight up in the air and puffs out like a proud little plume. Some might call it a strut. I just call it walking with style.
I’m a pretty social guy when it comes to other cats. In fact, I’d really love a home where I have a feline friend to hang out with. Life is better when you’ve got a buddy to nap near, explore with, and occasionally stare at the wall together for no apparent reason.
I don’t mind being held either. I’m a gentle, easygoing fellow who enjoys a little affection here and there. But if you really want to win my heart, let’s talk about food. Wet food? Treats? Yes please. I’m always happy to accept pets while snacks are involved. I consider it excellent manners to allow humans to pet me while they’re providing such wonderful service.
I’m also discovering the joys of playtime. Wand toys are especially interesting. I’m still perfecting my technique, but watching me figure out the whole “chase the string” thing is apparently very entertaining for the humans.
Right now I’m living in Orlando, which I’m told is the land of magic and castles. I haven’t seen the castle yet, but I have mastered my royal tail wave, so I think I’d fit right in at the Magic Kingdom.
All in all, I’m a sweet, charming boy with a lot of love to give. I’m just waiting for my furever home with a family who will appreciate my fluffy tail, my snack enthusiasm, and my excellent personality.
If you think I might be your new best friend, you can apply to adopt me on our rescue’s website. I’ll be here practicing my tail strut and patiently waiting to meet you. 🐾

🐾 Foster Fail Fairytale 🐾
(From Sonora & LiLi)
Hi friends… it’s us. 💕
You might remember when we first arrived. We came from a hoarding situation — a place where there were too many of us and not enough love to go around. Everything felt crowded and scary. When we were brought to safety, LiLi was still called Lisa. That was the name on her paperwork when she left Orange County.
But that wasn’t who she really was.
Then United Paws stepped in. And everything changed.
We were safe. We had space. We had food that didn’t have to be fought over. We had soft beds. And for the first time… we had humans who looked at us like we mattered.
We went into a foster home together. They told us it was “temporary.”
Temporary? We didn’t know what that meant. We just knew this house felt warm. We learned that laps were safe. That toys were ours to keep. That the quiet wasn’t something to fear.
They started calling Lisa “LiLi.”
And Sonora? Well, I started coming out of my shell too.
Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. We grew up — we’re about two years old now! We found our brave. We found our purrs. We found our silly zoomies.
And then one day… our foster parents said the words:
“We can’t let them go.”
Foster fail. 💕
We didn’t fail at all.
We won.
We stayed together. We stayed home. The place that was supposed to be temporary became forever.
From a crowded beginning… to a life filled with sunshine windows, cozy naps, and people who chose us.
Thank you to everyone who believed in us. Thank you to United Paws for pulling us, loving us, and giving us the chance to find our forever — even if it was right where we started.
Sometimes the best foster fails are the happiest endings. 🐾💛
Love,
Sonora The Tortie & LiLi The Tabby
🐾 Orlando’s Happy Ever After 🐾
Hi everyone, Orlando here…
I’m a 2-year-old kitty, and my journey started in a hoarding situation where life was pretty overwhelming and scary for me and my siblings. Thankfully, Orange County Animal Services helped us get safe, and the wonderful humans at United Paws Rescue brought all five of us into their care so we could find our fresh starts.
And guess what… I found mine. 🏡❤️
I’ve officially been adopted! I now have a loving family, sunny spots for naps, and even a big fur sister at home to show me the ropes. She’s already teaching me the best places to lounge and how to make sure the treat jar never stays closed for long.
Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way — from rescue to foster to forever family. Because of you, this once-uncertain kitty is now living his happily ever after.
Love,
Orlando 🐾

Hi friends! It’s me… Goji (but the nice humans at United Paws Rescue first knew me as Eric). 🐾
Not too long ago, I was just a tiny little guy — under 4 months old — when I ended up at Orange County Animal Services. I was small, scared, and unsure what would happen next. But then United Paws Rescue stepped in, scooped me up, and promised to help me find the happy ending I deserved.
And wow… did they ever deliver. 💛
Soon I met my forever family — and I didn’t just get loving humans… I got TWO big fur-sisters too! They’ve been teaching me everything I need to know, helping me play, cuddle, and feel right at home.
Now my days are filled with love, zoomies, cozy naps, and being reminded how adorable I am (I mean… they’re not wrong 😸).
Thank you to United Paws Rescue for saving me, and to my forever family for loving me. Because of you, I’m safe, happy, and exactly where I belong.
Love,
Goji (formerly Eric) 🐾

🐾💘 Will you be my Valentine? 💘🐾
Hi hoomans… it’s us — the furry, whiskered, tail-wagging crew at the rescue. We’ve got a tiny Valentine’s wish to share.
Some of us have never had a Valentine before. No cozy couch to curl up on, no forever human to share slow blinks, belly rubs, or happy tail thumps with. But we do have lots of love saved up… just waiting for someone special. ❤️
This Valentine’s Day, would you be our Valentine?
You can say YES by:
🐶 Adopting a best friend
🐱 Fostering and giving us a safe place to land
💝 Donating to help with food, care, and vet visits
📣 Sharing our posts so our forever person can find us
We promise unconditional love, warm snuggles, and the kind of loyalty that lasts way longer than chocolates or flowers.
Love,
Your hopeful Valentines at United Paws Rescue 🐾💕
P.S. If you already have a furry Valentine at home, give them an extra kiss from us — and maybe help one of their friends find love too.

🚨 Missing Kitty Alert — Help Us Bring Sammy Home! 🐾
Hey friends, it’s us — the furry team at the rescue — and we need your help right away. One of our fellow kitties, Sammy, is missing, and his family is heartbroken.
Sammy is an orange American Shorthair, a very sweet, loving boy who slipped out the door on February 3, 2026. He was last seen near Aloma & Old Howell Branch in Winter Park, FL (32792). His humans miss him terribly, and we know he’s out there needing a little help finding his way back.
If you live in the area, please:
Check garages, sheds, porches, and under bushes
Keep an eye out during the evening and early morning hours
Share this post so more neighbors can look for him
Every extra pair of eyes helps bring a lost pet home. Let’s work together and show Sammy the power of a caring community. ❤️
Sammy, your humans — and all of us rescue pets — are waiting for you. Come home soon, Sammy. 🐱
From a hoarding case to a happily ever after — Tulsa’s journey has been nothing short of beautiful. 💕
Now known as Tulsa Rose, this sweet girl has officially found her forever home… and what a perfect one it is. She was adopted by the same wonderful couple who recently welcomed Lucy, a United Paws Alumniinto their family. Talk about a reunion made in rescue heaven!
Tulsa’s story began in a tough hoarding situation at OCAS, but with love, patience, and a whole lot of teamwork, she made her way to the life she deserves — full of comfort, cuddles, and companionship.
A huge thank you to Mr. Peanut for the carrier that helped make her journey possible, and to our amazing Kitty Flight Attendant for safely flying this precious girl all the way up to Boston. ✈️🐾
Congratulations, Tulsa Rose — your new chapter is just beginning, and it’s filled with love. 💖
