Hi, I’m Gaia! 🌍💚 I may be named after the Greek goddess of Earth, but I promise I’m not too divine to snuggle in your lap and purr like crazy while making biscuits. I’m a 6-year-old tabby queen with a heart full of love and a whole lot of gratitude for this second chance at life. You see, I was almost sent to a high-kill shelter… but some kind humans stepped in and saved me just in time. Now I’m in a cozy foster home in Orlando, Florida with United Paws, dreaming of the day I’ll have a forever home of my own. I’m healthy (just had my yearly check-up and got an A+ from the doctor!), spayed, and totally up to date on all my vaccines. I’m as low-maintenance as they come—easy-going, affectionate, and happiest when I’m next to my person. I love laps, head scratches, and Churu treats (seriously, I’ll do just about anything for a Churu 😻). Oh, and don’t forget a scratcher—I’m a lady who enjoys a good stretch and scratch. Hi there, I’m Scarlett—a quiet, gentle girl with a soft heart and an even softer purr. I’m about 1.5 years old, and I’m still learning that people can be kind and safe. I might take a little while to come out of my shell, but I am trying—I just need someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to go at my pace. One thing that’s really helped me feel more confident? Snacks. I’ve discovered that treats are incredible, and I won’t let you forget when it’s time to hand them out. I have no problem announcing snack time with a few loud meows—I take my snacks very seriously! I feel most comfortable around other cats. The kitties in my foster home have shown me how to play, how to relax, and how nice it is to have a snuggle buddy. Because of that, I’m really hoping my forever home has at least one friendly feline friend to help me keep growing. I love chasing mouse toys, batting around my scratcher mat, and playing tag with my foster siblings. But don’t worry, I know how to wind down, too—you’ll often find me curled up in the cat tree or napping in a cozy cuddle pile. I may not be the boldest cat on the block, but I have so much love to give once I feel safe. Hi, I’m Echo – and United Paws helped me find my forever family! I wasn’t just another number. I was one of the lucky few to make it out of Florida’s #1 high-kill shelter — an overcrowded, under-resourced place with no air conditioning, even in the sweltering heat. I was exhausted, overheated, and barely holding on. During a protest rally led by rescue advocates, my life changed. As brave voices demanded compassion and change, a kind friend of United Paws Animal Rescue stepped in and pulled me from the brink. Others weren’t as lucky. I’ll never forget them — but thanks to that incredible act of love and courage, I got my second chance. That amazing human asked United Paws to take me in and help me heal, and they did just that. With their care, I blossomed. And then something even more wonderful happened… I found my forever family! Now I spend my days curled up in comfort, surrounded by love. I have twin two-legged sisters who adore me and a furry four-legged sister to share playtime and naps with. I’m finally safe, seen, and cherished — living the life every animal deserves. We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to help two beloved dogs who just lost their entire world. A close friend of our rescue recently passed away in Dallas, TX and now his two loyal companions, Roxy and Cinnamon, are looking for a new home. Roxy is a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix, and Cinnamon is a Husky/Shepherd mix. They’re around 11 years old and have spent their lives side by side, full of love, loyalty, and companionship. They’ve already lost their dad, and we’re doing everything we can to keep them from losing each other too. These two girls are deeply bonded, and we’re hoping to find a home that can welcome them both—together. They are calm, loving, and just want a cozy place to feel safe again.
